i need a new computer

dang.. i hate my computer..
but.. here's my pt of view, of wat we did 2day

we pretty much started off the class w/ doing our lab. i was confused w/ wat 2 do @ 1st but hopefully ended up being partly right
the lab was fr. pg 430, i believe, fr our textbooks, & consisted of taping pennies 2 a ruler @ certain pts. Ms. K. gave us a lab worksheet 2 b handed in. Pretty sure that was all we did 2day..

next scribe...

&& finally...

Okay.. so both kadeem and i kind of 4got about the blog.. haha.. opps..
but here it is:
2day we went over all the answers 4 the assigned qus. yesterday. the answers + some of the work was (fr. the green book, pg 213):
#1: w=Fd
w = (80N)(10m)
w = 800J

#3: W = 176J
d = 0.3 m
w = Fd ---> F = w/d
= 176/0.3
= 586.6
#5: (0.25)(0.12)(3) + ((0.23-0.12)/2) = 0.145
#8a)
b) w= Fd
= 1319
c) w = -11319J
#10: F = 845N ; d=185m ; w=1.2*10^4 J
w = F cos (feta) d
(feta) = 60 degrees
#12: Now work is done as F 10 is perpendicular to the distance
#17a: F = 9.8*240
#17b: both distance and work = 0
#17c: w = Fd
-5527.25
# 17d: No it does not exert any force
#22a: cos 32 = 805 N/ H
#22b: F = 805N
angle = 32 degrees
w = Fd
w = (805)(22)
w = 17710 J
# 22c: w = 17710
t = 10s
p = w/t
= 2213.75 watts
#23: F(2) = F(1) cos 45
=(42.3)(cos45)
= 29.91N
w = Fd
w = (29.91)(16)
w = 478.56 J

p = w/t
p = 478.56/3
159.52 watts

... wow that took long

&& hw 4 2night is.. 1, 3, 6, 9, 10, 12, 14, 21, 23 on pg 237

scribe ... i don't know whoever wants to be =)

TEST TOMORROW!!!

Hey every1! No 1 has been posting so I thought I'd get us going again. .
Today in class Ms. K. went over the answers for the "Advanced Forces" assignment sheet she gave us the other day, on the Smart board. (Check out the link on the last post.) This was after we went over the answers for the "Using Concepts" on the boards in class.
The answers for those were:
1. m = 250 kg
2. F = 3000 N
3. m = 5 kg
4. coeffiecient of sliding friction = 0.255 (no units for this 1 !remember!)
5. acceleration = -2 m/s^2
skip 6
7. a = 3.267 N/kg
other side:
1a) acceleration = 4.9m/s^2
2. max acceleration = 0.2 m/s^2
3. coefficient of sliding friction = 0.4

Then Ms. K. gave gave us another assignment sheet to do. err.. & i think that was all =S
Hope I'm not missing anything! STUDY HARD! + good luck 2morrow!!!

oh ya.. and the next scribe is H2O .. try 2 post this time!
