Hey it's Kevin. On April 16th we corrected the chapter 10/11 study guides which included 10.1: Energy and Work, 11.2: The many forms of Energy, and 11.2: Conservation of Energy. We also corrected the Concept-Development Practice Page 8-3 worksheet on momentum and energy. For the rest of the class we worked on questions from the green text book.

Today, we have done the correction of the study guide which is chapter 11, we did 11.2 CONSERVATION OF ENERGY. Ms.K taught us the FORCE AND THE SPRING from the WORK AND ENERGY handout.We finally did a lab - HOOKE'S LAW. I guess thats about it.

Work and Energy.....
Hi, it's Febi again and it's Monday, I'm scribing for Monday cause the next person was not in class today.....
For today's class, we revised the Energy in it's Many forms study guide.
We also did the second page which is Conservation of Energy, pg 227- 231 in the green book.(we'll go over it tomorrow).
Ms K. gave us Momentum and Energy Worksheet and we went through the notes for Work and Energy.
As I said on friday, there's a test coming up and it's gonna be on the 21st (mon) so get ready............
It'll be on - Circular motion
- Work and energy.

Down the Hill Lab...........
Hi everyone, it's Febi. I'm scribing for Friday.
In Friday's class, we did another Lab titled Down the Hill, pg 330 in the green book.
Ms. K also handed out a study guide titled Energy in it's many forms. The lab that was done on Friday is due on monday, so you might want to get it completed over the week end. This lab kind'a explains KINETIC ENERGY and POTENTIAL ENERGY.
Ek= 1/2 m(v.v) (get the idea ? half of the mass times v- squared.)
Ep= mgh (mass. g. height).
I think a test is around the corner, don't know when but just get prepared. Later Peeps.

Thursday April 10, 2008 (Scribe 2)
Hey everyone it's me Robert again. Well today in Physics class we started off by correcting and going over the Chapter 10 Study Guide for 10.1 Work and Energy.
Two things to note from the study guide:

- Power = (Work)/(Time)
Next we moved onto our lab that Mrs. K had ready for us. The objective of the lab was to see how much work and power a person could create walking up a flight of stairs. Once we did that we filled out the analysis and application part of the lab and handed it in.
Also Mrs. K assigned some work (at the same time as the lab) to do in the duck book.
- Duck Book : Read p. 325 - 330 & Do Problems 1 - 6 on p. 330
That was it for Today's Physics class and I will see you all tomorrow!
